I am a natural born humanitarian. I grew up volunteering with the Special Olympics every summer, volunteering at the local animal shelter, and fostering animals. During college I enjoyed working at my local community kitchen to feed the hungry as well as serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live their best life. I am excited to continue feeding my passion to give back to others in East Tennessee.
We should show up and help where we are needed. Not because it is expected, but because we can change a life.

I am extremely passionate about giving back to the Upstate NY community where I was raised and have chosen to stay to raise my family and work. SEEDs of Hope provides me with the platform to do just that.
My dad was a lifetime Rotarian and imparted to us the gift that volunteering mattered. Over the past 40 years, I have volunteered for my sorority, as a coach, in my church and on many boards. I have learned far more than I have been able to teach and received far more than I have been able to give. The rewards to serving are endless.
Volunteering in the Syracuse area fills me with a sense of purpose and community. Each experience not only allows me to contribute to important local initiatives, but it also strengthens my understanding of the challenges our community faces. The friendships and memories I create while volunteering remind me of the impact we can have when we come together to support one another.
I am fueled by a strong desire to make a difference and a deep appreciation for the wonderful East Tennessee community. I am dedicated to giving back and fostering an environment where everyone is eager to support one another, ensuring our community continues to thrive and grow.
When the Greatest Humanitarian/Influencer encountered a need in individuals or multitudes, His compassion motivated action. He fed, He healed, He taught, He comforted, He even wept. My desire is to somehow be apart of that, at the very least a tithe of that.
I grew up watching my parents and sister volunteer for local humanitarian organizations, special needs schools, and social justice campaigns. This helped me develop my lifelong appreciation for community organizing and volunteering. I believe SEEDs of Hope provides just the resources and platform for me to help those in need.
I spend most of my free time volunteering with my youth group and at my church. I am always looking for other opportunities to serve my community.
