Dogs Days of Summer

September 6, 2024

Members of the SEEDs of Hope (SOH) team along with several staff members from S.E.E.D. Planning Group spent a wonderful day volunteering at the Broome County Humane Society (BCHS) this past month to celebrate the ‘Dog Days of Summer’. BCHS staff were gracious enough to provide us with a very informed tour of their wonderful facility.

The SOH team provided lunch for the employees and volunteered their time making treats for the dogs and cats while visiting with some residents. The Broome County Humane Society is a non-profit Animal welfare organization dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and finding homes for abandoned, abused, and homeless animals.

The organization receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity and kindness of the local community. They do amazing work for our furry friends and run strictly on donations. If you would like to contribute to the Broome County Humane Society, you may do so by visiting www.bchumanesoc.com and clicking the DONATE button. Thank you, BCHS!
