A small team from SoH visited with a group of students at Binghamton University, with a focus on Financial Literacy. We covered a variety of topics that drove discussion around the Essentials of Investing. We addressed the stock market & investment basics, investment strategy, types of retirement & savings accounts, diversification & risk/return, financial management & avoiding mistakes, and the role of financial planners. We closed with action items the students can immediately begin to apply to their own current situations that are easy to implement, make sense and can boost their financial well-being. The students asked amazing questions and were engaged. This was a great opportunity to expose young adults to broad spectrum of financial topics. Thank you Binghamton University for the invite.
